A Houston guard company for commercial property
About 150 of our licensed officers staff more than 100 commercial sites around Houston. Our Texas Department of Public Safety company license, B07315701, dates to 2018. Our owner brings 20 years in Houston security to the work.
These are the 5 kinds of property we staff.
- Construction sites
- Office and commercial buildings
- Warehouses and distribution centers
- Vacant commercial buildings
- Shopping centers and retail stores
Depending on the site, officers patrol on foot or by vehicle. We don’t staff homes, HOAs or events. K-9 units, fire watch, parking enforcement and alarm response aren’t services we offer.
Day-to-day duties, staffing math and contract terms for a commercial post have their own page, business security guard services. Our main service pages are listed under our security services.
Where our officers work near you
Our officers cover Houston and 7 nearby communities: Katy, Sugar Land, Pearland, Spring, Humble, The Woodlands and Conroe. Inside the city, our officers work Downtown and in the Energy Corridor and the Texas Medical Center.
We can usually deploy to a new site the same day. Every account is assigned its own supervisor.

English- and Spanish-speaking officers
We have bilingual officers who speak Spanish as well as English. In the city of Houston, 808,128 residents age 5 and older speak Spanish at home. That’s 37% of everyone in that age group, according to City of Houston Planning and Development Department tables built from 2020-2024 American Community Survey estimates.
On a commercial post, officers check in workers and deliveries, verify visitors and take down the details for incident reports. Each of those is a conversation. If most of your crew or drivers speak Spanish, tell us when you call.
Commissioned or non-commissioned officers
Texas law ties carrying a firearm on duty to 1 credential: a security officer commission from DPS (Occupations Code §1702.161). That’s the line between a commissioned officer and a non-commissioned one.
Both kinds of officer must pass the Level II training course and test, a Texas Department of Public Safety requirement. A commissioned officer also has to complete the Level III course and pass its test, which includes a course of fire. Every unarmed officer we post has completed Level II, and our armed officers requalify every 2 years, firearm proficiency included.
Commissioned officers fit cash-handling sites, sensitive facilities and other higher-risk locations. Non-commissioned officers handle patrol, access control, visitor checks and incident reports.

Before and after an officer starts at your site
Before an officer’s first shift on your site, we’ve run a background check and a drug test, verified the state license, interviewed the officer and checked references. We carry 3 policies: workers’ compensation, commercial auto and general liability.
After the post starts, a GPS guard tour system records each round. Incident reports come to you in real time, and we also run supervisor check-ins. Write-ups of 5 incidents our officers handled are in our post on security guard emergency response at Houston commercial sites.
You choose the term: weekly or month-to-month, for a short assignment or a long-term post. We never make you sign a long-term contract.
